Getting to Galicia

The wedding will take place in Bueu,
a small village in the Rias Baixas area of Pontevedra, in northwestern Spain.

The closest cities are Pontevedra (Borja's hometown) and Vigo,
both about a 30-minute drive away.

FROM NORTH AMERICA

The nearest major international airport is in Porto, Portugal, about 2 hours' drive from the venue.

We recommend flying into Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) and traveling by coach bus (Autna or Alsa) or train to Galicia.

IMPORTANT! Portugal's time zone (GMT+1) is one hour behind Spain (GMT+2).

Also, if you decide to rent a car from Porto, you might incur additional fees for driving in multiple countries.

The closest regional airports are Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) and Vigo (VGO).

There is a direct flight from Geneva to SCQ :) but most European flights stop in Madrid or Barcelona.

If you’re landing in Vigo or Santiago, the easiest way to get to the city center is by taxi, which should cost around 30 EUR.

If you plan to tour around Galicia, renting a car is advisable.

While the Invernadero del Pazo offers a beautiful natural setting overlooking the ria de Pontevedra, it can be difficult to access by car.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from pickup locations in Vigo, Pontevedra, and Sanxenxo.
